The Theodore High School Band is one of the most visible student groups on campus. With over 25 performances
each year from the beginning of August to the end of May, the band works hard to promote student spirit and pride at THS.
The band program has earned a reputation as one of the premiere band programs in the Mobile area. Students in the
band program are recognized as some of the finest students at Theodore High School, and many of them are involved
in numerous other activities around campus.

BAND NEWS

Marching BandThe THS Marching Band consists of brass, woodwinds, drumline, front ensemble, and color guard. This unit performs at all football games (home and away games), school pep-rallies, and various parades in the community. The band will also perform their halftime show at band competitions/festivals in the region.
Christmas SeasonAfter marching season ends, the band will rehearse and perform music for the THS Music Department Christmas Concert. This event features the band and choral programs at Theodore High School.

Symphonic/Concert BandBeginning in January, the band rehearses and performs concert literature for state band assessment and our Spring Concert. During this time, the band also focuses on improving individual playing skills and developing musicianship.
Join the team!Playing in the band throughout high school keeps students involved in meaningful activities, and teaches students how to work together as a team. Come and perform with us!
